The Oregon Real Estate Agency had not changed the course material or final exam questions for their pre-license courses since 2002. As of January 1, 2013 they have contracted with an outside vendor to create an entirely new set of questions for the state's final exams. In the past, students could memorize all of the questions in the course and pass the state exam the first time. That is no longer true and the first time pass rate for new applicants has droped dramatically since the change. However, we have found that students with a thorough understand of the course material have had little dificulty passing the new state exam on thier first try.
