The learning objectives of this course are to understand business cycles and the impact on investment properties, the importance of a market rent analysis and property investment analysis and also to understand the guidelines and requirements to a Tax-deferred 1031 exchange. Also covered is understanding the obligations of a broker or property manager when handling other people�¯�¿�½s funds, being able to demonstrate knowledge regarding the requirements of accurate record keeping, accounting of funds and understanding how to perform three-way balance reconciliation. \rFinally it will define the property management agreement and cover reports to property owners. The course meets the requirements of the Oregon Real Estate Agency for 7 hours of Continuing Education eligible credit.
